It crossed my mind that one other low-barrier-to-entry contribution opportunity where multilingual abilities are extremely useful is QA. Many i11n features are not adequately tested -- do input methods work properly? Is the currency and time formatting right? There's only so much foreign packagers can do (especially when the local documentation is in the local langage) Suitable fonts mean free (as freedom) fonts. They can be already free (but hidden on a non-English web site) or almost-free (and needing someone to convince the authors to change their licensing; strangely enough that works better if the people engaging the font author are of the same culture) It would be very nice if local communities were more involved in identifying suitable fonts for Fedora inclusion.
