		<description>My best sanity tip for work travel: if there are times when you don&#039;t have to be &quot;on&quot;, spend them on yourself.  Because I do community stuff and a lot of my best interactions happen over dinner/drinks, that means I do lots of late nights at conferences.  As a trade off, I generally look at the schedule and unless there&#039;s something I *really* want to do in the morning, I will often spend it in my hotel room sleeping in a bit then quietly dealing with email and stuff.</description>
