Hey Mel,

I think part of the message I was getting across was that we can't complain about an overall lack of communication between alums/students/other groups and then not have at least a directory of blogs and the like. Originally, I thought PO should be sort of a larger students.olin.edu (as in, students-alltime.olin.edu), but after thinking about it some more, I don't think Planet Olin should be that place.

Your approach is much better. The whole Planet concept is designed to be a way to get information about a specialized topic: whether it is Linux or puppies or Olin. Right now, the common link is not our discussions about or related to Olin, but that we all attended it. So I think I'm going to do the same, create a feed just for my Olin/Oliners/Engineeringesque posts, and have that be the PO feed.

Then I can write about naked time-travelling robots on my main feed and still maintain dignity in the Olin Community.
